Working in an office exposes an individual to several risks which are often overlooked or dangerously dismissed as as trivial issues. Order hotline: 0800 294 4440
The most common type of injury/strain in an office environment falls into the category of upper limb disorder, this is a general term that refers to pain in any part of an individuals arms, hands, fingers, neck or shoulders and lasts for a long time (which therefore is categorised as chronic).
Visual display units (VDU's) is a general term covering most types of monitor or screen used in an office today. The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations implement an EU directive that ensures employers minimise the risks involved in VDU work by providing employees with well designed workplaces and jobs. We can supply a range of specialist computer workstations and accessories that are the first step towards providing a safe and well designed workplace. We are also able to supply chairs, seating and a range of additional office equipment, have a look in our news section where we highlight what your office layout says about you.
